Successful and profitable plants speak for themselves: Our credentials reflect the sustainability and success of UFT´s plant technology particularly in conjunction with the production of authentic sturgeon caviar in premium quality.

Plant located in Fulda/ Germany

The United Food Group built a closed circuit plant specializing in the breeding of fish in Fulda, Germany over 18 years ago. This plant equipped with UFT technology was used to breed a wide variety of fish species (e.g. tilapia, eel, Wels catfish, pike perch and, of course, sturgeon). Since the plant was taken over by an investor in 2002, it has been operated exclusively for the production of sturgeon and caviar. United Food Technologies still play an active advisory role in the successful and highly profitable plant. The current production figures read as follows: ca. 60,000 kilos of sturgeon meat and 4,000 kilos of caviar.

Plant located in Jessen/Germany

UFT was commissioned to plan and construct a sturgeon farm with an annual production capacity of 4 tons in Jessen, Germany. UFT was proactive as general contractor and undertook over all construction and installation work. The fish breeding plant opened in May 2008. In the following year the first Premium caviar was produced and successfully marketed. UFT has its own office on site where they act as permanent advisors and are intimately involved in the success of the plant.

Plant located in Abu Dhabi /United Arab Emirates

Caviar from the desert: The world’s largest plant for the production of genuine sturgeon caviar fulfils this vision. UFT was commissioned by the Arabic corporation Bin Salem to construct the world’s largest closed circuit plant for sturgeon and the production of Premium caviar. The plant went into the operation start-up phase as scheduled at the beginning of 2011.
A modern, long term operational fish farm, complete with sturgeon, has come into being on an approximately 61,000 square metre plot of land.
The plant in Abu Dhabi will reach a capacity of 32 tons of premium quality caviar and 490 tons of sturgeon when it is fully operational. These are high quality products which will be marketed regionally in the Arab Emirates as well as worldwide. Furthermore, on a long term basis UFT will support the client with its know-how and professional consultation.
